Took Hubby to the Office today LOL - took him out to the Major Malls last night!!!!

He's there in reception reading a booking sipping on Timmies - quite content lol

They should have "Take your spouse to work" day. He's patient. My hubbie can't sit still for more than an hour unless he's sleeping. Very short attention span.

Was just thinking I hope he doesn't land the week I travel to states on business in Jan!! What would I do??!!??!!

Really wish we were on the same banana boat as you were but hopefully we aren't that far behind.

How has the first week been so far for the both of you? Does he look at everything in amazement? I can't imagine living on a small island and then travelling for the first time without having my breath taken away. I felt that way the first time I went to NYC!!! It was surreal how everything was so big!! So I can't imagine how your hubbie reacted.

lol he keeps comparing everything to they way Jamaica is
yesterday I brought him to Vaughn mills mall ( he said there should be no fat people in Canada cause walking through this mall would keep anyone slim lol)
we live in Btown so it isn't has busy as the tdot...... in the new year i plan on taking them down town let them see real city life ....

I find it so amazing how they fit right in with the rest of my family its like they have always been there
i am not gonna lie i anticipated that the transition would be rough especially for my step daughter but glory be to god she is handling everything like a champ. My hubby actually has a few friends from back home who came up last year that live close by us so they are taking him around and showing him the ropes ...
my mom taking him today to go look about getting his social cause his friend is trying to hook him up with a job at his work place....
I feel blessed
and wish and hope and pray for you and all on this forum that your papers will come through soon that life can get back to normal.

Well he has truly adapted then if he is drinking Timmies LOL

One thing my hubby says he misses is his exlarge triple triple (yuck) from Timmies......one of these days I am going to bring him one from Canada on the plane (can you take stuff like that on the plane?)

One night, y'all should just go for a joy ride downtown T.Dot to show them the lights and Christmas tree!!!

Yeh I'm sure you can order one for him at the Timmies right before boarding however it would likely go bad within 10 mins of debarking in JA due to the heat!
