Omg I am sooo happy to have found this site!!!!! I am sponsoring my husband! I was approved as a sponsor in June and app was sent to Kingston! Here is my dilemma... My husband has a 6 year old boy from a previous relationship. Circumstances have changed and he now has custody of his son, and plans on bringing him to Canada with us. I called CIC and they told me to simply fill out the PR forms for his son and write "add on" on the envelop and send it to Kingston. His sons passport and medical are still in process, and may take a month or more. Can I still send his sons "add on" application and explain that medical and passport are in process. Or will the whole application be rejected because of the missing documents ?

You should call them to find out status of your file. If they're working on July 4th aps, then surely yours has been opened and perhaps even approved already.

Hi Heathermiriam, welcome to our forum family! Do stick and stay, Jamgirl will add you to our updates list! I would suggest that you wait for your stepson's passport and medical to be completed before adding him to your husband's application. You want to be as complete as possible with everything, that saves time and energy so KG does not return them or set aside the file while they wait for you to get a letter saying they need the passport copy and proof of medical (Jamaica Post is really not efficient, LOL).
