Good morning all!
DG, still feeling happy for you this morning to see another person ending their journey with KG and getting started on their journey with Canada!
If you are anything like me, you are still checking your passport at random moments to make sure the visa is actually in there, LOL!
Ladies, no panicking, remember that DG is a provincial nominee, not a family class applicant. The PNP process is a little longer, the province you are moving to must first process your nomination and approve it, and it is a very objective process which means that DG and her family had to demonstrate they have the skills and adaptability to thrive in their chosen province. Congrats on completing the process, Daintygirl, I wish you and your family all success in your plans!
As spousal applicants, we have less objective and more subjective criteria to meet: we don't have to demonstrate that we can adapt and survive in the province we are moving to, our spouses must demonstrate they are capable of supporting us, and we must demonstrate that our relationships are genuine and not for the purpose of gaining status in Canada. That is why timelines can vary so widely, and why it is important to put our best foot forward in our applications. Everyone's time will come, each day brings each of you closer to your time!
