For minors, they need their birth certificates, the photographs and the certified passport photos. Parental consent must be given on the forms.

Question for u again on the additional family members forms do I have to put all his brothers and sisters on there?

I am sending him money down tomorrow to start on the birth certificates next week he has to put his name on his daughters and he has to correct his name on his sons. Both mothers r really good about this whole thing so for that I am thankful. One less thing to worry about. When I go down July 13 we can get the passports and medicals cause we can get them express and I should SHOULD be able to come back up with everything to send back in

I was on it a bit earlier, and it was giving problems. Maybe they're updating something? Ices, how are you doing? Did you ever end up ordering your CAIPS notes?

Glad to read the updates of recent approvals and aor's and great news for biytc (it's about time girl!) woo hoo!!! The wait time for sponsorship approval is crazy, so I'm glad there's some movement. I have heard that Kingston is also back logged...but I don't get it...wouldn't the back log here give them more time to clear up their stuff over there??? As fo rme, I'm here still waiting...I really hope we hear something soon, wanted hubby to come up in the Summer months but who knows....I finished painting and redecorating my kitchen. Have to tackle the living room next!! Keeping busy, it's the only way I stay sane :-\ lol

For additional family members, all siblings (including half- and step-siblings) should be included, yes.

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE

Omg kingston is alive.. I just received an email from chc advising that hubby's passport is ready and they apologise for the inconvenience with the delay and that the cause was due to there heavy workload.They also advise that they no longer do pick up so hubby needs to send in an airbill and drop it off so passport can be returned..I am smiling right now..just a refresher to those waiting on pp he dropped it off on the 15th of may

Mrslwsn, I am enjoying it. I love having a home with my husband again, I guess that will always be the best part of being in Canada. I like the efficiency of doing things here, haha. No standing about in line for 2 hours for anything! My SIN card actually arrived within 7 business days, when the lady told me 10-15.

The whole business of the mall tragedy is pretty sad. I hear a lot of frustration and anger from talking to the few people about town I am acquainted with. They all feel that things moved too slowly, and that if the rescuers were so reluctant to go in, they should have let the townspeople go in themselves, because these were their family members. Some even signed waivers saying they understood there was risk and they would hold no-one liable if they got hurt, but still they were prevented from assisting, and that was Monday night. Yesterday was too little, too late, in most people's opinions that I hear.

Not sure what the spirit up here will be for it, but I am going to be previous and wish everyone a Happy Canada Day long weekend!

Yes I must agree the efficiency of Canada vs Jamaica is the greatest hands down. I'm glad you have settled well.
I feel that whole mall thing was really handled badly, mi sad for the families.

Yup, just finished reading some more news coverage in the Globe & Mail and online at CBC.ca, and others are asking the same questions. Who was in charge? Why was it necessary for the premier to get involved before they came up with a Plan B? It was just all very poorly handled.
