Hey everyone! We are confused about the passport request instructions. So apparently we have to send the passport/documents to the VAC office in Montego through a courier of our choice (Tara, since this is in Ochi Rios). But then we have to wire money to a bank account for the transmission fee and a one way courier fee from Montego back to Ochi. We were hoping to have the passport delivered back to a courier office instead of his address to make sure nothing gets lost. So they said they use DHL, but I’m pretty sure there isn’t an office located on Ochi. So confused.


I used DHL in Kingston. My husband payed for it to be delivered to the office and returned to DHL office once the passport is ready for pick up he will go back to DHL to get it. The passport was delivered within one day.

I don’t believe there is a DHL in Ochi though. But it’s being returned by DHL from the VAC office.

Dhl is in ochi but u can use tara to send it to the vac in mobay .just send it tru the vac it safe

so guys I sent my representative a long email because she refuse to take my calls...guys you know the woman have the audacity to tell me to stop talking to people in the forum because persons are not speaking the truth and went on to say KVO is not working then when my husband call her she told him that she will have to call him back and then hang up the phone. dwl

Let the sponsor contact their local MP and let them do the enquiry for you. I use my MP for everything. My MP contacted Kingston last week and 3 days after I got the passport request.
