Hi kieshat what exactly is required to get the driving record letter from the high commission of jamaica?.

Hi Mrs Grant, I responded earlier but the message did not post in the normal way. We went to the Toronto location. I believe the High Commission Office should offer the same service. The Toronto location required hubby's COPR, current driving license from JA and $30 cash. You can either pick-up the letter in 7 days or have them mail it to you if you bring an envelope with the stamp. All the best.

There are spreadsheets that I'm looking at and it doesn't show summer interview dates at all.

I have been looking too and don't see any summer interviews at all. Looked at the KVO forum that was before this one. Latest I see interviews for is March and then they start again in September

That’s is amazing! Fast reunification gives me some hope. I have only sent in my application waiting to hear back. My husband says Cic will soon block my number.

I call every week to see what applications they are opening.

Today: December 22 lol I’m praying to hear something by the next two weeks.

I’m going to get him to work on his ppc and schedule A so as soon as they ask we can send it I’m granted everything is A okay

Great idea to keep yourself occupied with other things. Base on my experience it's best to have a new birth certificate, the marriage certificate and additional passport pictures (remember to tell the photographer it's for the visa). Also, you can research and call up the immigration doctors to see pricing/location that works best for you. Those things should keep you busy. In our case, the wait time from when the app was received by immigration and Sponsor approved was the longest...so don't get discourage. You never know and CIC never gives you a correct timeline. I don't come on often but feel free to ask me questions directly. This forum is a great resource and the members are wonderful/supportive. All the best with you app.

Hi! It did not say we needed additional documents in order to continue processing the application. Under supporting documents it does list the items we were told to bring to the interview though. The only thing that change was you need to attend an interview.

Application status - We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of eligibility - We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results - You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents - We need more documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details.
Interview -You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics -We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check -Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.
Final decision -Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

come to think about it i heard KVO is busy June-Aug trying to get all student visa processed which is priority during that time.

Oh yes I heard that too. Am just hoping I don't have to wait until way in September to get an interview date as they started processing my application from January 05, 2018

You can however there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able re-enter the country and if CIC is unable to contact you they may decide you abandoned your application. I did inland my husband landed in January and last night his daughter landed in Canada.

My process took 26 maths if you’re doing the new timeline you won’t have to wait too long to travel

so it says decision made and I'm unable to find out what that is, but I did ask Jamaicansnowflake and she says I got through when they mention sending me a permanent resident kit and that my application has been forwarded to the visa office for final processing.

Im surprised received an email from them today.

My original email was -
after checking GCKey account it shows Addition Documents are required however I did not received a request for any further documents to be submitted .

May you please clarify if there are any further documents outstanding for my application?

they responded;

"all previously requested documents have been received.
Our office will only require any information/ documents that our office has specifically requested in a letter or email sent.
You are required to submit the requested documents at interview as specified on the interview letter."

only thing they requested were passports so I guess all is good.

Thank you no I didn’t attend. They received the application July 27 received AOR1 on September 26 schedule A was requested after file was linked in October 10 AOR2 November 3 saying file transfered to KVO. Medical requested November 13 medical done on November 24 interview requested January 26 for February 15 visa granted on spot hubby picked up visa this morning
