Hi Welcome! Processing time as in how long it takes from apply to getting the PR? If that's the question, ive noticed it take approximately 7-12 months. Some have even experienced shorter wait time but for most persons it falls between 7-12 months. You can view our spreadsheet and that will guide you as to the average time it takes.

Majority know same time at the interview if all is in order, but there can be delays for a variety of reasons ( dependant, medical, pcc, fees not received etc.) passport may be kept and forward back with visa or passport may be requested at a later time.

Oh k thank you my husband just did his medical yesterday that’s the last thing he had to do before his interview.hopefully they will have his result before his interview

Hubby had interview Oct 10, 2017 and his visa expires May 18, 2018. So he got just over 7months to leave.

So first I would like to thank this Forum so so much for all the help and support throughout these months while awaiting my hubbys arrival. He will be here tonight woohooo

He was approved yesterday.

Unfortunately my hubby is a big chatter box and was not actually asked many questions as he just chatted the ear off the officer lol.
Mostly they spoke about me being pregnant and she asked to see pictures. They chatted about all sorts of things, he found the women very friendly and easy to speak with. I really hope that all goes well for everyone with future interviews xox

oh wow guys. i just finally got my interview date for middle of November and i also was asked for medical. so excited so nervous and so dont know what to call this feeling ))))
any body know how long does it take after medical exam to get results?

I wish each and everyone all the best with the application process and once your family is together many more blessing. I haven't done my application yet. We aren't married as yet we are engaged over 6 months now. I want him here as many of you are going thru the feeling of missing and needing to see our partners. I'm still deciding if I should do the visiting visa as I don't want to give him a culture shock or should I just trust he will be okay and go thru with the visa. I'm neverous any advice I appreciate for everyone as you all give string honest encouraging words. Thanks

Oh wow mariooooo congratulations man ...don't be nervous ..normally they say 3 months but maybe yours goes thru on the same day ..hopefully keep your fingers cross..

3 months or 3 weeks? i just have my interview in 3 weeks. i thought it should take just couple weeks.

No am wrong I think it takes couples day cause my done on the 6 of july and the doctor call me the next Tuesday said she send it off ..but you won't get the result in your hand so they will send it off ..explain your situation to the doctor when you go there

Hi! My hubby just got approved today for a visiting visa, we applied in June 1st for PR I really wasn't expecting him to be approved but I'm so glad we tried for the TRV! It can happen, his flight is booked for Oct 27th

When KVO requested a passport picture for the interview what size does it need to be? Does it need to be stamped by the shop? My husband went ahead and got passport pictures and was told by the immigration person to get "2 regular passport photos and don't do anything to them" please help me!
