Kindly assess my profile plz urgent

Hi guys, I'm a new member here. I'm an Indian (Punjabi), female living in the Philippines...kindly assess my profile plz im in need of ur help because i'd apply to the sheridan for the 3rd time since march 2012, but still no confirmation/offer letter. I'm very dissapointed because i was disqualified by the college.

12th class (Commerce from India) 55%
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (from a University in the Philippines) 85%
IELTS 6.5; no band lower than 6

I applied for practical nursing in sheridan but was disqualified they said that my 12th std grades are low but how come that they are not considering my degree in nursing. then i was advised to by them to take PG Emergency mgmt but again disqualified..now they told that i lack some units....and then my agent call them and requested for a course that would suit me but still no response yet...i'd plan to take Jan 2013 but now losing hope :'(. Could u pls help me guys for my case or can u advise any course and college for me either from toronto or edmonton. I would really appreciate ur help...thanks in advance.

Hey havent u applied to any other college? Or other option would be come with whatever course is a little similar to u. And upon ur arrival u can change the course by requesting the college. That should be a problem . Do not delay it any further make it asap coz there is not much time. Do not rely on agents u urself call the college as a random student and get info on what can be your best suitable course. I am in toronto and a friend of mine did the same thing when he was rejected an admission at sheridan for similar reason. Good luck

The agent told me that she applied to centennial but also no reply from there....Ur ryt i should not rely on agent anymore and time is running...do u know any other college there which still accepts application?

hey frankly its a bit to late. coz the college takes atleast 2 weeks to give an admission and there would be no time to apply for visa . So drop the plan of other college but try very hard to change the course in the same college. Logically since the college already have ur application u wouldnt need to send all the documents again. So checkout for other courses in the college asap. Relying on agents wouldnt help much. Out of my experience. I myself did a lot when i was applying. Better than going through the whole application process again which takes hell lot of ur time.

Hey...Think of applying for a different college instead of Sheridan...try centennial they have good courses....

Your profile is similar to a member here mann.jas, Shes having b.sc. nursing from punjab and applied for Practical Nursing got rejected by college because of Low score in IELTS, and she applied for Early childhood Education in sheridan on 3rd DEC.

You can try this course, If not
You can try any other college providing courses similar to your profile.

Well as u said u had already applied in sheridan,, request them,, its the only college that can provide u early response on request. even I had submitted the application for sheridan college in nov and also requested them for an early response and got e-offer letter on third working day.
SO usually humble requests works.
U can look for other colleges,, but do it by urself, do nt rely everythng on consultants. Check this college, look in the nursing programs they are still open for Jan intake. http://www.georgebrown.ca/ft-status-2012-2013/

Before submitting any application to college first call them and ask if they can give u an early response.

Applied for Centennial College Health Informatics Technology(Fast Track)
Loan of 12 lacs over 6 lacs for living expenses...
Wat do u say???will i get it???

Usually consultant's apply by 10 december (with good profiles), 7 days are still left.
If she can arrange everythng by 10th Dec, then only it is possible!
