Kids given a shorter Visa - Seniors pls advise

Hello seniors, Just received my visa and was given a longer visa duration than my kids. 2 years and 6 months respectively. I would like to know if it is possible to extend their trv while in Canada before visa expiration date so I could extend my children's TRV in Canada

Visa can be extended any time from Canada but you will have to send the passport and other docs to Buffalo or Montana visa office (I am sure about Buffalo but not about Montana through, just heard it from someone thats all).

Extension of visa can be done from within Canada, you will have to send it to the case processing center in vegreville Alberta.
Just check the CIC website for details.
