I dont think that they check for stones in kidneys.

they only do chest xrays. The xray doesn't show kidneys. Don't say anything about them. ;)

I have faced this problem friends as some rbc were found in my urine and those are signs of stones,so chc asked for further medical tests and it took one month time and money too for sending the medicals again as no stones were found in me,i will suggest you to get your urine, blood checked for any problems if these are ok then only go for medicals

Sandhu

hi there! Its not true. Even if you drink lots and lots of water your blood chem will have the same results.

My Renal Function Test report is fine, with Urea and Creatinine in normal range. It is the urine report which I am worried about.

in urine test or urinalysis you will have increased WBC, RBC and protein if you have kidney stones. Drinking water will not decrease it. one Medical management for kidney stones is forced fluids for about 3-4 liters a day to eliminate the stones providing you take all your meds as well. This will take a lot of time.

My urine report is as follows:

PH 6.0
Pus cells 1-2
Epithelial Cells 0-1
Calcium Oxalate 4-6
SPECIFIC GRAVITY 1.015

Rest are all in normal range

it seems you have a normal urine test result but im not sure for the calcium oxalate because i dont know what is the unit your laboratory dept is using. What I know is that Urinary oxalate excretion is usually 40-60 mg/d.

One of my husbands also has kidney stone, I am worried if he could pass the medical exam.

How many husbands did you put on the application for Canada...? :)
Just kidding...I'm sure you meant something else, but it sounded so funny...

Thanks Karen Chu for your comments.
