Hello everyone!

I have been living in Canada for past 3.5 years and in summer 2020 I was diagnosed with a chronic kidney condition. Both of my kidneys function less than >15%. I am on medication. However, im not on dialysis or qualified for a transplant yet. I am soon going to be applying for PR under CEC. Do you think it will be a burden on Canadian health care system? Need several opinions. Thanks!

It's really hard to say. No one here is going to be able to tell you. It will depend how your medical condition is evaluated. If IRCC thinks you will need dialysis or a transplant within the next 5-10 years, then you can expect a procedural fairness letter with an intent to deny your PR application.

You'll have to go through the medical process and see what happens.
