This application is for my wife. She is also pregnant due August 29th with both our first born baby. I'm hoping its done and she's here to give birth. Otherwise I will be flying to Uganda for the birth in August. My issue is if its not done and her here by then, then I need to apply for my sons citizenship which is taking anywhere between 4-6 months and from the sounds of it her medical will be expired by then and most likely her ppr. So not sure what to do if that happens.

Study permit applied around same time. Biometrics too. Still waiting. Thats five months. Hoping approval comes early enough. I hear passport stamping takes about 2or more months.
