Hi guys, after collecting and filling in our forms we sent them via mail to the immigration(Mississauga). we send on [size=10pt][size=10pt]25th january[/size][/size] and we received a receiot letter on 26th january. we awaited until 19th april and we got a letter from cic that the immigration had approved my husband as the sponsor meanng he had reached the requiremnts. thats the first stage, my file now has to be assed too so it was send to nairobi to be procesesed thats the stage two. keeping my fingers corseed to hear from them someone who ha the same experience?????????????????????????????????????????????P-leae replyyy

hi, i am also in stage 2, waiting for Nairobi to process my file. Missisauga got my file on January 3rd, 2012 and they sent me a letter saying they approved me as a sponsor and it has been sent to nairbobi. The letter I got was on Feb 16, 2012 so I am also in the same boat.

Hi there after a month or so I checked my status on the Internet after I received my file number and on stage 2 there is messesfe that they have received Medicals....it's been weeks Now with the same message...I guess it will take a while fir the next stage coZ I read that's it's updated quarterly unlike stage 1 which is updated weekend.just keeping fingers crossed do they don't take 31months I really miss my bbaibie love and I gotta be with him soonest in vancover..someone to share theirs??????

This is my timeline :January 25th we sent file to missasauga Jan 26 we received an ackoldgement that they have received the package.april 29th we received email which had the UCI number and I checked status same very DAyit said th file has been sent to Nairobi.after one month say may 1st another update status it says Medicals received.today's is 19th may and the status is still the same.I will updated if anything new comes around.just pray this thing will be very soon over so I can be with my love

Yes we must be positive to get a great result..
Its hard but we must think we will finish all soon as possible...
Im from venezuela...regular proccessing time is 25 months ...so bad but hopefully our proccess will take less...


My status did not change from January!!!!!! my hubby was approve as sponsor
Anyway Good Luck and patience..
Keep in touch and participate in CIC SURVEY ,MP communication and all mecanism..

Yes we have Kenia and Venezuela with Afganistan the most high time so bad....But I wish for all applicants to have less time with this hard proccess..
Good Luck and patience..but we need be unite and participate....CIC survey,,MP contact,CAIPS or GSCM notes we must be the change we want to see...

the dates of procesiing really differ, thet could say it will take 31 months but it will be quicker than the sai d because 31 monthsa is just an average if the application is complicated an d needs like serious reviews and all. me i have been in canada since august .in vancouver whats a beautiful place, what about ya nay news for ya
