I will agree when something actually happens (like deportations and cancelation of PR's and citizenships)

lol thats what i say too but i guess its a step in the right direction we are far too soft on immigration crime

Everyone hates Kenney, but I think he's up to doing a very good job. Of course, you have to crack some eggs to make an omelete, but in the long run, I think Canada needs the changes he's making.

I remember reading that sponsors used to be financially responsible for 5 or 10 years. Why did they drop this to 3? Did this not work very well?

Parents are 10 years so if a parent sponsor their child and vice versa its 10 year

The article says

"To become a citizen, a permanent resident is supposed to have lived in Canada for three years in a four-year period. Permanent residents must be physically present in Canada for two years out of five to retain their status.
"

I thought it was 3 of 5 years???

One guy I have known to got his PR revoked last week :(

I like Kenney. First Minister of Immigration in a long time to actually DO anything. I don't always agree with him but then again, I don't always agree with my cat either.

Dude, my cat's a freakin' genius! :P

You should have been around before Kenney. Can barely remember the names of previous ministers because they did a whole lot of NOTHING.
