Hi , i m hassan i applied in dec 2009 got and email of intial approval on feb 2010 i m going to submit my all docs to CHC islamabad in the comming few weeks i m giving the IELTS the third time each time i got marks 6.5 total with less in 2 and higest in 2 according the the IELTS high and medium marks rules the latest i got L 6.5 R6.5 W6.5 S 6. I hold 16 years education last degree master degree of MBA finance i have also done OCP oracle certified professional. doing job in a private firm as a finance manager for 5 years . my age is 26 can i apply with out repeating IELTS i got 1 month left so what shall i do ???is there any other way i can send my docs ??

2. shall i have to apply to london or islamabad as the email i got mentioned to apply to islamabad but the web site now says london ???

3 what shud be the matter of the experience letter ? if my company is not willing to release me and won't be verifing my experience certificate as they don't want me to leave .so is there some other way ??i got the TAX certificates salary slips and other proofs but i think they might do some thing when the CIC verifies the certificates through phone ??

IF you have the min passing marks with 6.5 of IELTS, then no need to retake the test!!

if letter says apply to Islamabad then better apply to Islamabad, and put this letter copy with your docs.

The exp letter is verified, dont you have good relations with HR, normally they call the HR dept, to verify your exp. etc

Thank you for starting this thread for Karachites.
Mehpk advised you rightly. here are my comments.

1. if your marks are 67, no need to retry for IELTS. if your marks are less than 67, then look for other options, like french or you can claim points for relative in canada and also for your spouse education (if you are married).

2. Send your docs to London, My friend last week sent his docs to CHC-London. He had email for CHC-ISB but since it is on website, so he sent to CHC-London. Also if you send your docs to CHC-ISB they will forward to CHC-London.

3. Its not a good situation and can get you in big trouble. If CHC verifies and there is neagtive response, then results can be drastic. I advise you to talk to your employer and tell them about this, also take them in your confidence that this is very important for you future etc.

I agree with Irfan but as far as other question is concerned regarding job references, you can write to CHC about that explaining the circumstances sorrounding you that thye shouldn't get confirmation from ur employers as they might not give the reference due to whatever fact. I think they do visit work places in Pakistan but i'm on opinion that if you provide everything as required, they might not check your references than but again it's not the same always.
