*FOR APPLICANTS
• PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL

I have googled the letter and it seems a standard request. However, I am confused about:

-> How to schedule for a medical appointment? For the upfront medical (at time of applying), we emailed IOM Pakistan to setup an appointment and went to their location in Karachi. However, in this letter, they mention to take the email printout and go to physician to setup appointment -- does she simply print out the email and take it to IOM location? Or do we still email IOM to setup appointment?

-> CIC attached a blank form (titled 'REASSESSMENT FORM') as well as asked to bring IMM5419E (MEDICAL REPORT / MEDICAL HISTORY QUESTIONS) with her. Does she need to pre-fill the bio-data and questionaire section or does she simply bring the forms blank?

-> For upfront medical, IOM requested her to bring passport size photographs, passport photocopies, etc. This time, besides the forms, they haven't asked for anything else. Can anybody advise on this?

Thank you very much,
Khan

aoa. Yes print out e-mail and contect to cic authorized doctor , I hope when he read this he will do your require test and after that send your report to cic panel by e-mail. Best of luck. Naveed

Walaikum Salaam Naveed,

Thank you for the response. My Wife took the email to the IMO Medical Center in Karachi Today but they told her to email IOM to schedule an appointment. IOM on the other hand emailed us back for a much later date appointment (the appointment date is beyond 7 days allocated).

This is strange considering we mentioned in our request email to IOM that we have been given only 7 days for the medical. I have emailed IOM back asking to reschedule as their appointment date falls after our deadline.

Hi M23Khan,

Can you please follow up and let me know if the day after deadline was an issue and what had to be taken in with you to the PP. Any detail would be appreciated. Need to know urgently.

Thank you

We tried contacting IOM multiple times and the best they did was to give appointment 1 day after the deadline. Apparently, the letter's deadlines just means that you must contact IOM to book appointment within the deadline they mentioned.

For example, if deadline is 7 days, then you must call IOM within 7 days to arrange for an appointment -- the appointment can be 15 days after the request, doesn't matter.

salam Khan/ Naveed

I get the same email and i have the same problem we get the appointment after 5 days of deadline. Please confirm is that fine? as its not possible to get the medical within 7 days. and if they mean we should contact the PP in 7 days then how embassy know that we contact them in 7 days? they make it so complicated. Please advise

Call IOM and get appointment,
request them to schedule your medical exam prior to the due date.
BUT
if anyone fail to schedule the medical examination within due date, in that case inform CHC delhi via email to sender and tell them the medical examination date and details.
Please do not forget to mention File # and IME # for all email correspondence.

Walaikum Salaam Asad,
