Hi all, would like to inform you guys that we just landed in Regina SK last Feb 26 thru Vancouver. Here's the thing:;
kami nag YES po sa tanong kung me dalang peanut (me pili nuts po kaming dala) it is not allowed but then dineclare namin..
pati po ang POF we put the cash as well as demand draft.. tapos ngiti kayo ng bongga kasi me selfie thing (dapat ayus ang itsura nyo s print out hahaha)
madali lang kasi pindot lang personal naman ang sagot kaya kung walang itinatago.. everything goes well
then the system provided us receipt..
Passport and the receipt ang pinakita namin sa IO (immigration officer)
IO asked us what brought us in Canada, sabi namin PR kami (new immigrant).. then tinatakan na ang passport namin tanda ng pagpasok namin sa unang step papasok ng Canada... sabay sabing "congratulation,, welcome to Canada"
then the IO instructed us to get all our baggage sa carousel at pumunta sa bandang side ng area na me nakasulat na " NEW IMMIGRANTS"
bawal ang trolley sa loob kaya makikita nyo mga nakahambalang na trolley with all the luggage sa entrada .. family at students ang pumapasok dun kaya marami rami ang tao (nung time po namin).. me sariling entrance ang new immigrant at student sa unang step...
pagdating ipinakita namin ang COPR at passport then binigyan kami ng books na me nakasulat "welcome to canada, what you should know" at sandamakmak na pamplets.. with smile sinabi na "Congratulation and welcome to Canada"..
ever friendly people na na meet namin so far...
then pinapila kami sa may counter , dito sabay sabay na student at new immigrants..
hand over namin ang papers namin (COPR at passport) then they asked us couple of questions.. but tulad ng sabi ko personal lang kaya di dapat matakot.. guess what is the first question?? dapat tig isang sasagot so the officer asked me first if I am married,, i said yes,, and yung wife ko tinanong din kung married sya (pero magkatabi na kaming nakatayo dun hahaha).. then asked us about money na dala namin...
yung lang tinanong sa amin then may pina sign na sa aming papel as well as yung COPR
ginuhitan na rin ang visa sa passport tanda siguro na wala ng valid un (entry visa lang kasi ang nasa passport)
then we're good to go..
we booked 8 hrs layover sa Vancouver,, dahil na rin siguro sa dami ng tao ( sa declation pa lang pila na ) almost 2 hrs ang natira sa amin before domestic flight so i suggest kahit 5-6 hrs lay over kayo before your domestic flight (kung meron po).. me kasabay kami sa Winnipeg sila at meron silang 5 hrs lay over... sa awa ng Diyos they get 30 mins to run pa domestic and take note domestic boarding gate sa Vancouver is in the last of the last of the last corner of the building kaya for sure sila kabayan nag run to the max.. kami slowly lang hehehe.. kung mag 8 hrs kayo ng layover lalo kung meron kayong baby/ kids i think mas recommended ko....
ngayon we've done na sa open door and finalizing all documents... will update you later guys...
Welcome to Canada!! cheers..
