Just wanted to share my timeline for citizenship

Hello Guys,

I am from Montreal. I would like to know more cases from Montreal and also if I am in the right times...

I received the acknowledgement letter on July 2011 and now on almost April 2012 is still just received... I know Montreal is the slowest place to process citizenship but I don't know if other applicants from Montreal are in the same situation than me.

Can you please give me some info about it?

Hello my friends. I just checked my CIC online. They did change it at midnight todAy. It says : 'We sent you a notice on April 19, 2012 to appear and write the citizenship test on May 11, 2012 at 8:30 AM' .. I'm so happy. And i think you guys and gals should be next .. I wish you people all the best.

Hello I've pass my test on May 9-2012 in Fort McMurray.
I've have not receive the results yet...how about you ?

Sure my friend. I had my test 2 days after you in fort mcmurray too. We have been told to write the lettet 'E' on top on the test paperd if we want to have the june ceremony in edmonton instead of waiting for fort mcmurray ceremony on september. I will keep you posted. And you do the same we can exchNge phone nmbrs and stay on touch too if you want.

Hello,they told us same thing,write the letter E for the summer ceremony on Edmonton, but they did't said for June ceremony,but that's good news for me cause June is almost here lol. I'll keep u posted about me.

Hey Saphie, at least your files transferred to a local office, that usually takes 6 months once they start processing your file. I am still waiting for that God knows how long it will take, i called them and they told me to expect another year!!!!!
