When I renewed my PR I had to use an extra sheet for travels and I used something like:

To whom it may......
Continuing Section......

<<>>

I ended with:
I declare that the information I have given is truthful, complete and accurate.

Signed on .... at .....

but this is not required or even indicated in the application or guide..if so, they should mention that and state it is essential sign. they just ask for question number and letter. i think we are confusing ourselves this way guys..

You can do whatever you want, but ask yourself why you have to sign the application form; in my view, the principle is that if an additional paper with additional details is attached it has to be assumed by signing it (and that is not only in regard to Citizenship Application).

I dont know; its true that is nowhere mentioned, but to sign any statement you make is a legal principle. Otherwise you can always say, its not mine, I dont know how it got there.

It doesn't make sense. The additional sheet is considered as an additional page or item. Otherwise, how about the remaining pages of the form which don't have the signature field? Do we have to sign on each page? Of course, not.

Everybody does whatever considers right. I only mentioned how I have done it and why (in my view) I thought I should do it so.

I completely agree with you. Also we would appreciate any other experiences especially who submitted with no signature on additional sheets and their applications went with no problems. did you submitted yours superfellow...?

Not for Citizenship. But for PR Card renewal, I have attached an additional sheet for travel history.
In the application form, I just mentioned 'Please refer the additional sheet' in the travel history section.
In the additional sheet, I have mentioned the section number and the table containing my travel history. No signature in additional sheet.
It was accepted and I got my PR card renewed.
Hope this helps!!!

Thanks a lot for your help. so you mean it is OK for citizenship application to not sign the additional sheets (you did this for yours).
Is it mandatory for PR card renewal (I did not renew mine therefore I don't know the instructions)

I don't think signature is needed. No where its mentioned in the guide. Otherwise CIC would have asked to sign it alongwith mentioning question number.
We should only follow guide guys
