Thank you for your reply jes_ON. I had read something like that in some old posts on the forum, but nothing official, so I thought the requirement had changed, as I got asked for that proof of funds as required document. I thought the document marked as required on my CIC account depended on the program I'm applying under, I didn't know the list of document shown on there was the same for everybody.Ummm... you posted in the CEC forum, you do realize that you don't need proof of funds if you apply under the CEC program?

"Note: You do not have to meet the funds requirement if you were invited to apply under the Canadian Experience Class.
The system currently asks all applicants to provide a proof of funds document. If you don’t need to provide proof of funds, you must upload a letter explaining either that you have been invited to apply under the Canadian Experience Class, or that you have a valid job offer."
Anyway, for now I got a letter from my bank that I will upload anyway, and at this point I won't care too much about having it updated if I apply later on.
Thank you!
