After 13 months waiting, university took 20 weeks, 13 weeks for CAQ, 22 weeks for study permit.

As it's Quebec, it's on the DLI covid ready list.

Other bishop's students with complete applications over 6 months old have not yet received the POE confirming study permit approval. I suspect it's because of the webform I sent yesterday where I stated facts, included gcms notes, wrote why online learning has been disruptive and had to drop obligatory courses, that maybe the Edmonton VO decided to issue.

Do you know why your CAQ took so long??

CAQ took so long as the Quebec ministry actually closed down, the application at that point was on paper only, they've moved to online now, it arrived 28 February in Montreal. Covid caused a huge backlog so it took 13 weeks. I hear it's back to 2 to 4 weeks.

Unfortunately her father abandoned her and me many years ago. He contributes nothing and left the country. Only family in the entire school with one practical parent.
