Just received CSQ, whats the next step?

Hi everyone,

I live in Quebec and I am doing outland spousal family class.

Just received CSQ approval few days ago... On the letter they say " The Canadian visa office has been informed of CSQ's issurance".

1) So what do I do with my CSQ? The HK visa office didn't ask me to send CSQ yet but do I have to send to reduce the waiting time?

2) According to my friend, the next step I am supposed to wait for HK visa office's response? I tried to email them before but never got answered... How long is this waiting period? 10 months ish ?

Personally, I scanned my csq and sent it to my VO via case specific enquiry as soon as I received it. When I ordered my gcms note later I saw that they received it

I would scan it and send them a copy like breeze123 advised.

If you don't mind me asking, how long did it take to get your CSQ approval?? We sent ours on April 22, so I'm just trying to get an idea of when we might expect to hear something.

It took me exactly 30 days (including weekends)..

Took about 45 days included week end and christmas holidays

I was looking at the enquiry form, it doesn't mention I could send CSQ as well... Do you think it is okay just to send the CSQ through that platform or it would be better to send it as hardcopy? But it is really costly for sending papers its like $60+ sending to HK ... :-X

They don't mention it but you can upload it and write a little text to explain that you got CSQ and you want to make sure they have it. They probably already got your CSQ but better make sure
