Just received Biometrics Validity Letter

Non visa nationals get the BVL at the same time as the POE letter of introduction, as no TRV is needed and the ETA is issued also on the same day. I now understand why it's the last thing visa nationals receive before they get their POE letters and TRVs in their passports.

Your student permit will not be valid past the expiry date on your passport. Therefore before your passport expires, you will need to apply for a student permit extension using your new passport.

Hi I received my BVL on Oct. 20 but no update til now. Have you got yours? My DLI is still not on the list though

This is explicitly stated on the paperwork you get.
