Just Married, Got few questions about Sponsorship

Hi Guys,

I'm a Canadian citizen. My wife applied for refuge 2 - 1/2 years ago and the process is still going, we just got married 1 month ago, i'm going to sponsor her but i'm confused in how to do it, i was reading in this web side that you can do it using an inland or outland application but not sure and i need more info, i'm having these questions and i appreciate if someone can help me:

1- What application should we use?, "faster/better"
2- Does she have to stop the Refuge Process or both can be running at the same time?
3- If we complete the sponsor form and send them, does she has to leave the country in case the refuge decision go wrong?
4- In case she cancel the Refuge Process and sponsor application is submitted, in the time she is waiting for a decision what would be her status in Canada?.
5- If the outland application is the faster/better way to go, for her to get the PR, does she have to leave to her country to get it?.

So far these are the main questions for now.

I heard somewhere that outland is faster under normal circustances you mentione that she apply for refurgee so that means that there is something or someone backin her country that represent a danger for her so why apply outland and go back there that will make the cic officer think and raise some flags ......just my opinion......Since she is already a refurgee just apply inland and avoid any extra problems she is already in canada and there is nothing to worry about like when she is coming and stuff like that.....Enjoy your wife. make kids have fun she is already here ..... In my case i just appy for my wife and not sure when she is going to be here for now i just have to keep expending $200 a month in long distance calls to talk to her.

Well it depends on from what country it is that she is from?And really if she is in Canada now and even if the refugee status does not pan out she can still stay in Canada as the process is going on.The outland is a bit faster but not extreme,so do the inland then if they require an interview she can go to Mississauga cic and when the process is done she can land at the cic too.
Just make sure you have a lot of proof of your relationship,photos,are the best vaction photos even if its in Canada weekend getta ways just anything to show you in love.Get her medicals done by an approved medical practioner,you do need though a police report from the country she is from you should be able to requst this online.Or by email,or mail.

HI, i am sort of in the process of sponsoring my girlfriend, in June im going ot be going to Mexico ( where my girlfriend is from and currently living ) and i plan on marrying her and sponsoring her outland. but, now i am thinking if we can jus get her a visitors visa and get her to come here to canada fisrt and then marry her n then sponsor her from here. cuz.. iv heard that if i marry her in mexico and sponsor her there, they wont allow her to come back with me "becasue" she is my wife, and becasue of that they feel that she will be staying for good ( witch i find to be ilogical because shes my fricken wife! why cant i be with her ? ) any who. i was wondering witch one of the two i should do.
help would be very much appreciated. thanks for ur guys time.

Either way you will have to apply for TRV for you wife or soon to be wife. If she is allowed to come you could get married here and apply for an extension of the visitors visa hopefully they will let her stay until the process is over. You can still get married in Mexico and apply for her to come here you have to convince immigration that she will leave we applied once got turned down reapplied and got accepted to two months so it can work. The reason they dont just let you bring your wife is they need to be satisified it is genuine relationship or otherwise any one could import their spouse and get divorced once in Canada. I know it sucks but we all went through it.

Well its not that easy.You need to apply for a TRV and prove to them she will return to Mexico after her visa has run out.Factors that will prove she may return to her country is property there,a child left behind,just her word is no where close enough she must have a reason to return to Mexico.
If she gets the visa then she can come get married here d the sponsorship forms apply and hope,also please make sure you read what she needs to have from her home country brfore she comes here there are a few thingsshe needsto have and it is on the CIC website an you have to make sure your eligable to sponsor first.

You may not be eligible to be a sponsor if you:

•failed to provide financial support you agreed to when you signed a sponsorship agreement to sponsor another relative in the past
•defaulted on a court-ordered support order, such as alimony or child support
•received government financial assistance for reasons other than a disability
•were convicted of a violent criminal offence, any offence against a relative or any sexual offence—depending on circumstances such as the nature of the offence, how long ago it occurred and whether a pardon was issued
•defaulted on an immigration loan—late or missed payments
•are in prison or
•have declared bankruptcy and have not been released from it yet.
Other factors not included in this list might also make you ineligible to sponsor a relative.

ok... so i can still marrie my girlfriend outland, apply for temporary visitors visa, re-asure the officer that it is infact a ligit relationship and she will be able to come back with me. because i really want her to see my family and her old friends again.
i mean shes got her whole family back in mexico and still lives with her parents, her job. well shes bin thinking about quiting for a while not cuz of out relationship n me bringing her back.. but other reasons.. would that be sufficiant for the officer?
