I will take a gamble on mailing my application tomorrow. If it is returned to me, will they refund the $630?
Your application will likely fall under the 3/4 rule if you mail it tomorrow as it is likely that your package will arrive at CIC by June 10.

If it gets returned due to incomplete application, then you will get a full refund.

They can't stamp on application if they didn't open it.
Yes they can, and they do. Please do not spread unfounded rumors to stress people. You may think its funny and laugh at their stress. It's not funny, hope no one makes fun of you when you are stressed.

Guys the stamp will be put on your file when they check the documents and everything is complete. Giving false hope is worst that giving wrong answers. Just take a deep breath. Chill!

By osmosis ? It's not unfounded rumor, just ask anyone who got application returned. The stamp on application matters not your imaginary wishes.

Received date is stamped on the envelop, the date it was received at CIC, not the date it was opened

To all others, for those who are ready to apply this is probably a very stressful time, and there will be trolls on this (and other) forums who will get some sense of twisted pleasure by giving you wrong information. Please ignore them and don't let them add to your stress.

Your application will be stamped on the date it was received by the CIC, it is likely to be opened a few days after its physically received. The acceptance date stamped on the envelop will the date it was physically received at CIC

By that time your E-CAS is updated to WE STARTED PROCESSING YOUR APPLICATION.
Have you applied? In eCAS what is the receive that? In my eCAS the date was the date they received my application, which is the same date that FedEx delivered. They did not started processing my application two months after the application was received.

What on earth makes you think that they stamp your envelope and not application ? I just deleted my post so you have no one to argue with. You should fell less stress at this point.
Yes, I noticed you deleted your post. Please check your eCAS and see what the received date is. It's the date that they received your application on. The date they will start processing will be different, that is the date they will open your application.

And I am not stressed, my application was completed a long time ago and have already been granted citizenship. Please don't troll here to stress others who are applying now

You drifted from the topic by trying to stress everyone unnecessarily. Now that you have been caught red handed for trolling, you are trying to show that you aren't trollin? Clever trick, didn't work. Try trolling somewhere else where your tricks might work better

Very old video. Circulated many times over on this forum. The video makes no logical sense.

•Eliminates use of time spent in Canada as a non-permanent resident (non-PR) for most applicants (in effect June 11, 2015)

What does it mean for most applicants? Is there any exception?

Thx.
