I didn't receive email tho in gc key my application is under review since July 1 and I had also raised webform. since many students with AIP has also received the email does that mean receiving this email is a good sign of approval?

Although, I haven't actually requested for any status updates through the webform. They've just sent this out of the blue saying

I have an AIP but I still received this genral email. May be it depends on your current status in your eligibility review section. For me it says "We are reviewing your eligibility".

People who had received AIP's prior still got this email.

I got the email directly in my Inbox at approx 3AM IST. There are no changes in my GCkey account

I am guessing that this email was sent to those who have submitted a Web form recently. I received this email from IRCC on a different email ID which I had used while submitting a web form few days back and not on the email account that is registered in my GCkey portal.

I received it too, I have not raised any webforms. Looks like they are sending it to everyone whose application is pending. They would have timed it so the bots wont consider as spam. Eventually everyone will receive it.

Files of Indian origin are processed in sister offices both in Edmonton and Ottawa.

The email id only hints at Ottawa, so I guess that this can't be used as a strong evidence to suggest signs of approval.

I may be wrong though.

Someone from my group received the email and after sometime, she got AIP. I also received the email. I have full application and i applied online from UAE since 27th May
