I just received ITA last week though ( i still have 3 weeks to complete 12 months of work) , last month I renewed my work permit for one year. Do the CIC keep all my documents for processing my ITA.( passport, marriage certificate, job offer, medical certificates) for ielts i just entered the date on my profile.. should i wait till completing 12 months then submit or submit now ? when will I know what is missing for my ITA application? Please help. Thank you!!

i have scanned all when i applied for the work permit.. for ielts ,yes i meant reference number and test score.. i will wait till 1st of July to submit the ITA( though i did accept and started filling the data). i hope this is not called submission.. otherwise im in troubles. as time is ticking what are the documents i should get ready now for me, my wife and three kids ? my former family name is in the passport too but not on the application :(( but i did enter previous family names in other question.. sadly, it is too late now add my family name in the application exactly as it appears on the passport.. please direct me.. Thank you.

Complete the questionnaire first, and you will see the personalized document checklist.

A general list of documents can be viewed here.

Police certificates usually take the longest to get, depending on the country.
SO i will see the checklist only when i submit i. e 1st of July ?

No, you will see the checklist before you submit. You have to go through the questionnaire and make sure all sections are showing "complete". Then you can proceed to the checklist.

Correct - once you have submitted the application, it becomes locked and cannot be changed anymore. If you need to inform IRCC of any changes or want to send them additional documents, you will have to send a webform via their website. So best to check everything before you submit.

What about your family name?
In my passport the previous family name is brackets but I did not write previous family name in the EE or ITA profile ( later i found out that family name must be exactly as in the passport) . in the ITA profile there is sections asking for previous family name so i entered it right. ( to sum it up my family name on the application is different from the ITA profile.
