Just got my 3 years PGWP, but my VISA is still a student VISA.

Hello guys,

My passport needs a VISA to visit Canada. 3 years ago, I got my study VISA and study permit. In 2012 Dec, I finished my school and successfully got my PGWP on Feb 26 2013. However, my visitor shows my category is STUDENT. In this case, am i able to travel outside of Canada with my STUDENT VISA(which will be expied in July 2013) AND 3 YEARS WORK PERMIT?

Do I HAVE to apply for an WORKER VISA so that i could go travelling?

Yes you cant enter on a student visa when you have PGWP status granted now. File a new TRV as a worker, you dont want to be in trouble at the entry.

I have the same problem. I called CIC today and they told me that we didnt have to apply for a new one - OP16 Section 5.7
The problem is, I can't find the OP 16 online!!
