21 months is the 80% time. it's quite a bit shorter for 50% and 20%, which suggests there are some applications facing intense scrutiny.

Hi, I just want to ask some few questions and I dont want to create a new thread since my concern is on sponsoring my husband. We just got married last June and I came back to Canada this July.

We just got married and I came back in Canada in which I am a PR. I want to process my husband's sponsorship but few questions arises.

1. Do I need to update my marital status and name (in my PR card, SIN, CRA, provincial ID, healthcare, Philippine passport) before I start my application?
2. Does my husband need to update his status as well? He does have a passport which have 2015 expiration.

You don't have to. My last name is now maiden-married. But CIC knows me as maiden(more than likely because of my passport which just has my maiden name on it). So I'm pretty sure that doesn't make a big difference.

Again, don't have to. The only real time you (both) will HAVE to is when you file for taxes.
