Some people have assumed that due to my name, I am applying in Paris, France, or am from Paris.
I actually chose this name because I love Paris, and the romance which the city represents. Unfortunately, 'Paris' as a nickname is usually taken, so I had to add something to the end of it. One day I was in Shopper's Drug Mart, and I noticed a cosmetics brand on the shelf, which was named "Roc," I thought the name was cool (I was probably 16 or 17 at the time), and so I decided to combine the two.
