Hi people..

I need some help...I just changed my job right now...When is the best way to tell the immigration? I am still waiting for the "sponsored approved" thing....or do i still need to tell them that I changed my job? And,..do I still need to pass the Employment Letter for my new job? How? thanks..

Are you the sponsor or pr applicant?

I am here in canada...I am the one sponsoring my family back home..I am a Permanent Resident here in canada..thanks..

Tricky bit that one, post in on the flagged thread spouse sponsor applicaton by LEON and maybe the seniors can answer that but from my understanding:

1. No financial requirement for sponsor to meet thus change in employment should not affect your application. Have they processed your sponsor application, they are working on 18 sept apps i think..if u insist then maybe write CPC-M a letter with your UCI (from your PR) and update them i suppose

Read the link below, its something similar :

Family meaning parents and siblings or spouse and children?

Wait until you have a file number to update information.

I think you have to wait till you'll get approved as a sponsor because once you approved you will have the application file number then once you'll have that send CIC-M an email and tell them about your new job and the important thing is dont forget to indicate your Application File Number . Hope it'll help

No, this is incorrect. You cannot email CPC-M any information. Wait until you have been approved as a sponsor AND your file has been received at the visa post that will be processing it. Then you can update your information.

ok..i'll just wait first for my "sponsored approved"..then after I received my file number i'll just phone CPC-M?? it that right?? How about the Letter for Employment for my new job? Do I still need to submit it?

Once your sponsorship is approved, file is transferred to your Visa office. So you need to update your visa office by " Case specific Enquiry" about any update on your personal information, employment status or address change.
CPC-M does not come in to picture once sponsorship is approved . All important changes need to be updated at Visa office as they are the one reviewing your case in detail after file is transferred.
