Just a question of concern

Hi dear folks and mates

This question is on behalf of my sister

Few days before applying for citizenship her phone got stolen in a mall she ran to the security office filmed it took a video footage and reported to the RCMP

then she got a report number and after few days she got a call and she explained the whole matter and the RCMP was so nice said they would try their best to get it

So anyways she had lots of educational documents on the phone

So later onwards she applied for citizenship and her file was received and acnowledged

So she was just asking me like since citizenship application goes on several background checks through will this slower her citizenship application ?

Cause she has proof that it's her phone

But she just wants to know will that slower her citizenship application ?

Dear sir and madam what is your advice should she take off the report ? Or should she just wait and stay calm while the application is being processed ?

what does her stolen phone has to do with citizenship, she didn't commit any crime, how will that slower her process, I don't think this has anything to do with applying for citizenship, or affecting the process in any way

Oh ok she was saying that normally if anything goes to RCMP if that is an issue wow canada is so great

Like back home it's different they slower the process for any matter cause it's not IT based

Here it's all IT based wow
