finding work in canada
Greetings!
I am currently employed as a government employee here in our town with a permanent status but I am only receiving a meager salary. I am desperate to go to Canada and work there considering the take-home pay in that country as compared here in the Philippines. In this regard, I applied at cic.gc.ca and answered some of the questions being asked and after assessment, I learned that I can go to Canada via the Express Entry Program (FSWP). Unfortunately, one of the requirements stated is for me to take the IELTS to determine my English proficiency, I think. To tell you the truth, I am not good in communicating with other people using the aforementioned language for the reason that I was not trained to do so and we are taught to speak in the vernacular. Here’s my question: is there a possibility for me to work in Canada even as a laborer so that I could practice my communication skills and take the IELTS later on for me to land a better job?
I would like also to inform you that I have a brother who went there just this July and is currently working at a manufacturing company in Calgary, Alberta. He already got his PR via his wife under the Family Immigration Class but I believe that their divorce papers are under way. Now, is it also possible for him to sponsor me thru that program? Or, could he look for a job for me to be able to get a Work Permit?
In anticipation of your favorable response towards my question, thank you.
