Junior Accountant NOC 1311?

Hello,

I am having trouble confirming if a Junior Accountant position falls under NOC B. I have a feeling it falls under 1311 - Accounting Technicians and Bookkeepers.

Can anyone tell me if the below job functions match closely with the above-mentioned NOC?


· Entering vendor payables into our industry-specific ERP software system

· Monitoring AP status and issuing payments via cheque and EFT

· Communicating with internal and external parties to resolve payables discrepancies

· Reconciling of vendor statements to our internal Accounts Payable sub-ledger list

· Processing customer payments in our ERP system

· Processing credit card payments

· Collecting payments and managing credit controls via communicating with clients

· Monitoring the AR and credit control status of clients

Handling daily deposits

· Reconciling bank statements with GL records

Other:

· Assisting with month-end adjusting and accrual journal entries


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have experience in the AML/KYC field as well. I would have continued in that field but it was just too risky to apply under NOC 1114. I still don't know if it is the most appropriate NOC.
