I have got the visa approved for September intake in Centennial College. I'm planning to go there by June's end. Some people including my agent are saying that reaching too early might impact my case while applying for the PR . Is there any truth to this?
Does reaching Canada early as an international student has any implications on arrival or during PR ?

it will not impact on PR case. But they might don't allow you enter country that earlier, but you can still enter in june. when they ask question port of entry just give them very genuine satisfy answers. it depends on officer you are going to talk on airport.

My college starts in Sep too... I've booked a ticket for 3rd of July... There's no harm in going early, You need to have a valid reason and funds to support yourself during the stay

I would personally suggest you to go a month before your classes commencing .. one month would be enough for you to get an accommodation and make yourself familiar with the place before your classes ...
Rest the decision is yours :)

As per other answer here arriving early on a student visa has zero impact on a future PR application unless you plan to work illegally before classes start then you will have a problem. Arriving early CBSA are most concerned that a study permit holder can support themselves without working until classes start so should be prepared to be convincing should proof funds be requested for this period.

Keep in mind Toronto is not a cheap city as far as living expenses are concerned.

Well.. since you already booked your flight, there will be no harm in trying but it's always advise to avoid certain so many personal questions by the CBSA on bad moods at the airport

Sometimes, even if you've evidence of proof to take care of yourself before classes resumes, they still feel is too early to arrive on a SP which might make them question you for other ulterior motives even if you have none.

In this forum.. there was someone recent who got SP for September 2018 intake and decided to travel as early as you but was sent back home and asked to come back one month to the resumption date

..like I said before, once you already booked your flight, there is no harm to try.. your luck might just be different
