2. Do you have a Canadian host? If yes, how is s/he known to you?

3. Do post the list of documents you submitted.

4. Do share some information about your personal and professional ties to help us understand your strong ties.

5. Have you traveled to other visa-required countries? If yes, which countries + purpose of those visits + length of those visits?

Just want to share my experience guys. I applied for my parents visitor visa on 4th July. It was processed at BangaloreVAC.
Elgibility review started on: 15th August.
Visa approved: 16th August

Congratulations. Assuming you submitted paper app. Did you link it online and it shows approved for both parents your mother and father?

Yes. I have submitted paper application on jul 4th and linked to online on 31st July.
It's approved for both the parents.

Has any applicant from the last week of june (paper based) received any response ? .
I have applied for my wife's TRV on 29th June at Bangalore VFS office .
Current status : review eligibility in progress ( this is the status from aug 2nd ) .

Good news !!
My Wife's application was approved today 17th August .
Passports have been dispatched , will be getting them on Monday mostly ..
I haven't got any mails or messages from CIC on the status updates . i have been verifying the status using my login creds .
Please find my timelines in the above message .

You will get separate alerts for each application when your uncle's and aunt's passports are ready for collection. Or you may want to consider linking their applications to their online accounts to know the actual processing status

Vfs said there might be technical issue that I did not receive alert for my grandmother passport. Anyways checked her status online it shows refused.
Will collect passport on Monday to see what reasons they hv quoted.
Uncle and aunt still under processing.

I applied for me mom dad and sister to visit canada for 2 weeks on 12 july.
Paper based Bangalore VO
Acknowledgement on 27 july.
Online status: review has not started yet.
Actual travel plan was to travel on 22ne august which is tomorrow. Does it impact on getting positive or negative resut?
