My Sister got admitted at Concordia University for M.Eng (Electronics), Montreal for Fall 2010.

She has applied on 14th July got Medical on 6th August. Have completed medical today and gng to send Passport to CHC Islamabad on 11th August.

If any of you got any response pls share here.

not yet yar lets wait n see. i heard they dont issue or reject visa more than one week prior to class start when app filed in june july

i think they have twice a week flights.
if u can just give me a weekly schedule of differnt airlines from islamabad to halifax ,that 'll do.

yaar pia to in days main full hai as per my info u will have to choose others. is that ok.

does the no. of switches and stopovers matter to u.. ya minimum cheayeen. coz the more the stopovers and changes the cheaper it gets

yeah i know about the pia , (there are no economy seats available at his month)
so,obviously i'll have to opt for other airlines.
no problem with stopovers ,i do enjoy that.

Well my timeline is as follows
Applied 16th July
Medical Letter 26th July
Medical Sent to New Delhi 3rd August

My main issue is i have to be in the university by the 18th of August as i have been selected for a course before the normal classes which begin on september 9th 2010.All this information was stated in the application.But till today i have failed to recieve any information from the embassy's side.I sent them an email recently but they have not replied to that.What options are open to me,is it possible i could receive the visa in coming days?

Furthermore does the prestige,ranking of the university affect the visa process?
