In June/July CIC officers did not work as regularly they do. In those two month specially from last of June till early July when new Law got passed and too many applicant than normal month rushed to send application due to fear of get caught by new residency rule. CIC took slow approach to process these applications which we are witnessing now. In Feb and March many June/July applicant may get test invitation..

I disagree on this as 90 % of my friends from Mississauga and Scarborough who applied in this time frame are already citizens.
But again every case is different.
