Congrats! What does your BGC status say? Did you see "updated" when you saw this change? Did you order GCMS notes?

I just saw your previous posts about ordering notes and your BGC status. The way you would know if you are now in IP2 is if you saw "updated" when you saw this change..

I saw it said updated when I did my 1st of about 100 logins throughout the day and my heart sank, then when I went back to check again and it had changed to submitted.

So now my additional docs says 'We do not need additional docs' and my BGC says 'We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.' - But it has said that for as long as I can remember, maybe as far back as August?

Perfect! You are in IP2, PPR coming your way this week! (P.S it's normal for the "updated" to change back to "submitted" once you open it.)

I will say No. I don't think so. I believe IP2 is for security screening. However, in our case they have been doing our BGC check since medicals passed so I believe if you saw "updated", then it means they are done. Just wait for your PPR!. Did you submit RCMP upfront?

I didn't. I sent my UK police check with my application and then in August CIC requested my updated travel history and RCMP certificate. I think that might be a new thing they have implemented because my two friends who got their PR last Non and Jan didn't have to submit an RCMP certificate and they had been in Canada for 3 years.

Hello Nad,

IP2 usually means that eligibility, criminality and medicals are all passed. I heard at this stage, they would conduct security which apparently doesn't take long except in cases where the applicant goes into security screening. Why do you think you will go into security screening?
