My case is similar and when I called IRCC yesterday the agent said that the information I see online is accurate; my eligibility and criminality have not been assessed yet. He also said that I shouldn't call again until December 15th, 2017 which is exactly the 6-month mark (rude). I'm not sure if call center agents have access to details and notes though.
Jeeze how many times did you call?

Not much, once every two weeks probably?
I think the agent was upset about the fact that I'm calling even though I checked the application status online.
Haha ... yeah, that's a bit much actually. I didn't think they could ban anyone from calling but I guess they can lol.

Thats alot. They put notes on ur file when you call.. you dont wanna piss anyone off. It is technically 6 month wait so we gotta be patient. Order gcms notes every 2 weeks thatll give u some clarity

Hmm that's true I guess. However, IRCC call center agents have no authority or ability to alter applications or decisions. They simply answer general questions and read-only files.

How do you know they put notes on your case when you call them? I think it is ridiculous.

Ik most of the call center has something called a tracking software. Where they put why the client called, what the agent did etc. Ik this because I worked in 2 centers in Canada and we have those. So, make sure you don't call them a lot.

Interesting. Well I called once. I have submitted my case June 30 and passed medicals. No other change has been done. I guess my case will take long time since I have got LMIA.

It depends, many individuals got PPR quickly. It's really hard to say, because it depends on cases. Good luck :)

Did you get your current BGC status the same day you passed medicals?
