No man..its RBVO.. :( :-[

This is reply form CIC of mine inquiry..It is very frustrated..
Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

If you applied as a Federal Skilled Worker on or after February 27, 2008 and before June 26, 2010 , your application will take two years or more to be processed. This is due to the fact that Canada received over 425,000 applications under this program during this period.
Unfortunately, it will take longer to process federal skilled worker applications submitted under the first set of instructions (between February 27, 2008 and June 25, 2010) than originally projected.

During this time, the department received applications for more than 425,000 people, and 144,000 of these have not yet received a decision.

This number represents more than twice the number of projected admissions under the federal skilled worker program in 2011, so many of these applicants will have to wait two years or more to be processed.

Hi - please note that 2+ years I believe is painting a worse case scenario picture.

Visa offices have more FSW visa allocations allowed than they have June2010+ applications, so at least some pre-June-2010 applicants will be getting visas this year.

Hi all,

I had asked earlier to be included in the june list, but I see it has not been updated. Please include me since my application was sent in June. Here is my info:

raulm / NOC 0631/ app. sent June 4, 2010 / received CIO June 10, 2010.

Hello Raulm,

is there any update on your case? I sent my app to CIO on June 24, and then full app to BVO on Nov 29. Haven't got my 2nd AOR yet... I saw in this forum that a few people have received their 2nd AOR already. I am a bit worried...

Whats the source of this positive anticipation

Nothing has happened in the past 4 months

CIC mentioned that first priority will be based on demand in the labour market.

So post june applicants will get preference and the new list as per the revised NOC published in July 2011 will be having the first preference (but they are yet to reach the concerned VO yet).

At the same time, they will be processing Pre June 2010 and Pre Feb 2008 applications, but won't be having the same pace other applications get. THERE IS NO INSTRUCTION TO HOLD THE PROCESSING OF PRE JUNE APPLICATIONS. Even when Pre June 2010 applicants had priority last year, they processed many pre Feb 2008 applications. Statistics available of CIC website

Delay is frustrating. But we shouldn't be negative. And hopefully there won't be too much delay for us. Lets all wish and pray that things will all go good for all of us this year itself.

The in-demand NOC list for FSW1 was not revised July 2011. It is the same list as June 2010.

Ok. Then it means Post June will be given priority.

And at the same time, they will process Pre June 2010 and Pre Feb 2008 applications. (Probably try to finish it off within the time limit mentioned in the website though some have already crossed the time limit which is 14 months for Pre June 2010). They may revise it later from 14 months to 17 months or so. The site which is updated on a weekly basis still stick with the 14 months period, so we better wait for our turn and not to be negative
