Hi Friends,

I submitted my full documents to Buffalo VO on Jan 24th. I could make it just before the deadline :). I have been away from this forum for a long time as I was busy with my program completion. Also, my son was born on Nov 11th in Canada. I have updated all the information in the application and mentioned in the covering letter. I have attached my son's birth certificate, program completion certificate etc.

I have applied for my post graduate work permit which I will get by March 2011. Should I send a copy of the same to VO?

Now, the waiting time begins. I wish all the members for success in their application.

Hi Guys. Thanks for the great Post.

1st AOR: Oct 06, 2010.

Once we receive PPR request, do we need to send it by post to London VO or can do we need to submit passports at Canadian Embassy in Abu Dhabi?
As per my understanding, we cannot send the passports out of the country by any post service, its illegal. 2ndly, sometimes, it takes long to get the passports and it will be very difficult to stay in another country for long without passports.

navali you think very very far ;D we will be lucky even we get medical request I feel
we dont have chance for minimum 1 to 1 and 1/2 years and regarding your question
you have to send your passport to london visa office.

they dont allow to change visa office for visa stamping and second you can use
DHL or fedex service for sending passport out of UAE

think from 25 february2010 they put status "in process"to all post june applicants who applied to CIO in july-august.Their e-cas showing"we have started processing on 24 feb2010".While prejune applicants status "RBVO" with details of pending review .
ALL guys please re-check status.MEDICAL bugs in all e-cas .pre and post june.It means they will clear post june qouta first then remaining for prejune

sorry typoerror .actually feb2011 not 2010

I Saw many postjune applicants got e-cas status mentioning 4th extraline "we started processing your application from 24 february 2011".most of the postjune applicants got e-cas like this while all prejune applicants shhwing pending review.just go and read postjune26thread

Dear All ,

I think to better understand e-cas status.

There are 2 different links are given to us.

One is Application for Permanent Residence Outside Canada for Pre 26 June applicant

https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/redir.do?redir=app_perm_fam&lang=en&app=ecas

AND Second is :

Application for Permanent Residence - Federal Skilled Worker submitted to the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) Sydney, Nova Scotia -- Post 26 June applicant

https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/redir.do?redir=app_perm_wrkr&lang=en&app=ecas

Hope this will help to clear sort of confusion on e-cas.

Regards,
Mayank
