Dear All
Can anyone please help me . I got reply from Call center agent yesteday that my application is retuned on 19th Aug 2010 due to some missing documents, I am June 23rd Applicant, Can anyone please help me out , Can i re-apply again or there are no chances to apply now, I have also been a given a Client ID # previous when I talked to Agent , I have not received my packet yet......... please help

Thanks
Faisal
Since CIC sends via normal mail and not by courier, it must have been just stuck somewhere within the mailing system/service. Yes you can re-apply again but under the new rules(post june 26). This time all the documentation and supporting documents must be included. Dont forget to check the local visa office website for the specific requirements.

Dont lose hope! This time double check everything. Dont rush and the trick is to use the downloadable pdf guide in filling out the forms. the guide sometimes have specific instructions. No harm in following the guide by the letter.

Take care Faisal!

Faisal,

Get your package and send it back with the missing/corrected info, I think it is worth trying. Your spend would be courier cost of ~$50, does not hurt much to try out your chances, imagine what if it works out.

I read on other forums and threads that people received their applications all marked with highlighters, so they mailed these highlighted ones plus corrected pages/forms. This was for people whose NOC was excluded from the new 29 list.

The battle is not over yet, Faisal!!!

one question about the copies of passports!

its written in the ND VO specification:
Passports or travel documents for you, your spouse or common-law partner and your dependent children. Include photocopies of all pages of the passports/travel documents.

What does all pages mean? do we need to photocopy of all the pages & notorise? or just the ones which are the main ones + visa pages.
& do we reali need to notorise them? (ive seen in some threads that passport photocopies need not to be notorised), if NOT, then why?

thanks in advance for ur time.

lamhey

lamhey send only that page which contain visa for other countries or which contain some information
which can be important for visa office, like for example i m living abroad I need send my visa copy
plus visa copy of where i traveled even it is not required i will just send for safe site.

you dont need to notarized your empty pages on your passport

You can ask the person preparing the letter to mention the amount in local currency and the equivalent amount in CAD (based on that day's exchange rate). The banks should have this currency exchange rate.

I am not sure if you should show the local currency as Euro/Bulgarian money.

That # translates into only 10% of the cap limit which is poorly low turn over so far. That indicates CIC will have trouble in finding the professionals in listed occupations, the reason may well be that these professionals are high in demand in their country of residence and are reluctant to venture out with immigration. OR. Awareness of Can Immigration process etc. amongst these professionals seems to be very limited.

HI I have also asked my consultant about it. He is a member of CIC and doing Immigration files since long time. I will inform here what he says. Actually In India It may be or may not be possible to get new PCC till 6 months I think only few luckey person or highly recommended people can get it.
If we all needed to get new PCC in just 3-6 months very hard as cops will not favour us. They will behave with us as we are criminals and they are always following rules strictly. ANyways we are unable to do anything just try to get new one otherwise can write an affidavit about it and submit our files with same PCC and can request to VISA Office that its not possible till 6 months.
Please update any experience so we can find some way

lakhvinder.kaur said:
thanks for update and your kind suggestion.

but still i feel we should get new PCC on safer side cuz if they require new at later stage it can linger the process. Moreover getting PCC in India is not a tough job.

I was surprised to see the numbers as well. I thought by now, there are certain occupations soon over the limit. This is actually good news for people yet to submit their application.

Well this could indicate that the supply/demand curve is on our favour. If Canada is struggling to get the number of professionals that it needs it is more likely to be lenient, particularly on borderline cases, in order to get the skills they want.

I honestly thought they would be approaching 20,000 by now. Now it COULD be because they are being ridiculously strict and failing a lot of people in the eligibility review, or it could simply be that they haven't received that many more than 2300 applications. If it is the latter then this might be very good news for those who have applied, in that they are going to try to look for reasons to pass your application. If the supply/demand curve were that they were getting overwhelmed, then they would be looking for reasons to fail it.

Of course there are probably quite a lot in the system already which have not had eligibility review done yet (all of September and most of October) so there could be perhaps around 5000 applications in total pass the completeness check. But still that is a low % of the total they want.

Wayne.
