We could get MRs once they clear all backlog (only after clear stock of May 2010 for whom they issued MRs). Why they keep our passports for long they should be like australian link visa with Passport No so we can keep our passport with us

Hello Lakhvinderji,
Nice to see all are getting MRs.Slowly but steadily the queue is going to end ..Unfortunately we are standing at the end of the queue.. ;D
Thinking & waiting for MR,PPR will make us more tense rather I've started thinking that everyday passes by,I am coming closer to that.

Why is this and since there are already lots of PP at VO waiting to get stamped.. Any idea and any relevant link Paritosh or just your logic.

We finally received our Med request after 3 years waiting. My family had given up and we are not ready for a move. I have a question. The 2 years they give you starts from the time your Medicals is done, correct? It is not from when you receive your Permanent Visa, correct?

Also, do all family members have to cross the border after receiving the visa, or just the primary applicant?

I applied in August of 2010. But that board is not frequented by anyone. I must be the only one left. As I said, we had given up and moved on... now suddenly we received Med request.

Regarding my questions, I think I figured it out. Let me know if I am wrong. Once you get your PR visa you will have a set date by which time you should land. The date is usually 1 year from the time when you finished your Medicals, correct?

Now as far as landing. You can land with your family and go back to your country for up to 3 years. You have to move to Canada within those 3 years and then live in Canada for the next 2 years.
Rules are: you have to live 2 out of every 5 years in Canada. Correct?

I do visit the forum but have an attitude to overlook the issues which makes us uneasy.
We had started the visa stuff with great zeal & interest but looking to the way ND VO has responded till now,I think we'll get VISA when $ touches 100 Rs. rate... ;D

Dear sir, i am facing a serious problem. I have recived med request on 4-7-13. My daughter completed B.Pharm in Aug. 2012. At that time there were no admissions open for masters for keeping regular studies. She took admission in long distance programme of MBA which is a regular course, But my consultant does not OK it. As it is not a full time study. While doing this course she took classes for GPAT to go for M.Pharm whose admissions open in june-july . now what do i do to coverup this period of almost 1 year
