Guys, My status changed to Inprocess on 1st April ,and the magic line was added on 27th April. But i haven't received any sort of communication from them yet. Do the people with IP status receive any communication normally? Am i missing something here?

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 29, 2012.

You probably just have to wait a little bit more. I received more instructions through mail from my VO

I received mine through mail. You can read through this forum and look at the other applicants who have the same timeline as you do. That's what I did in my case.

Dont worry, lot of applicant has the same time line like yours with IP date and waitin for any communication for updated docs from VO. As per my understanding, if the VO is satisfied with your documents they may not query for updated docs rather send you MR.

I have been a silent observer for some time. Today i have some update. Well don't know whether this is for my good or bad.

i am a FSW applicant my application received date is 1st june 2010. my 2nd AOR date from NDVO is 10 jan. 2011.

After waiting for a long time i applied under MPNP as well. i applied in july 2011 for MPNP ( thinking it will be fast) n yes i received Approval from Manitoba in OCT 2011 n again applied to NDVO for visa. my medical was done in DEC n passport were requested at the same time.
my MPNP application is in process from Mar 2012. i am on the last stage of getting the visa. i was expecting decision made within this month.

But today i noticed another update, today my FSW application status also changed to "In Process" as it was RBVO before.

What the heck, i was expecting they will call me n ask for the withdrawal of my FSW application n issue me visa under MPNP application.

But may be its for good as they are done checking my MPNP application n now they are checking my FSW application. ???

any views guys ?

Dont worry, lot of applicant has the same time line like yours with IP date and waitin for any communication for updated docs from VO. As per my understanding, if the VO is satisfied with your documents they may not query for updated docs rather send you MR.

Hello,

We applied in JUne 2010, buffalo visa office, NOC- 0213. And I want to provide an update on our case.

We received your application for permanent residence on June 17, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on October 28, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the Buffalo office. They are pending review.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 7, 2012.

And yesterday Mar 26 2012, we recd a letter from consulate general of canada asking for FBI Clearance, Medicals and the fees. This letter was dated Mar 16 2012.

Do you remember how long it took for you to receive your FBI certificate? I was also required to get another one and we'll be applying for one tomorrow.

We mailed the documents to fbi on march 27th and recd the clearance on April 27th. our cut off date to CIC was May 20.

When sending the documents for fbi clearance, we attached the 1st page of cic request and also a cover letter asking them to expedite and requested them to send the result by may 10th.

Apart from the info which everyone gets from the postings of the members of this forum, it would be useful if some of us can get in touch with their respective consultants and get some info regarding medicals of pre june applicants. The consultants file so many cases and if someone gives a positive feedback regarding medicals of pre june applicants of their clients, it would help in letting us know if we are in for a long wait from IN PROCESS or we can expect a quick action from NDVO?
