Hi Andy!! Quick question for you or for anybody that can answer this.

I applied for bridging open work permit on June 8th after receiving my acknowledgment of receipt (AOR) for my CEC Inland application. My post-graduate work permit expires on June 23rd. Can I continue working while my bridging open work permit and my PR application is being processed??? In other words, do i have implied status???

I don't know for 100%

But:

If a temporary resident applies for renewal of their work or study permit and their permit expires before a decision is made, paragraph 186(u) and section 189 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR) (the right to continue working or studying under the same conditions
pending a determination of their application for renewal) apply only as long as the person remains in Canada.

Yeah, that is such a grey area isn't it? A PGWP by definition is fixed at 3 years, however, the fine print you quoted says I can continue working. I don't want to be in violation. Just wished there was no grey area regarding this matter :\
