hope all is good.

My application has been stuck on BG NA for a long time (more than a month).

AOR : 9th of june
Medical passed: 8th July.
I am not sure about ip1 or NA dates.

here is what is reflecting in my application :

Where is this application? We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you
Review of eligibility : We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical : You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents : The additional documents you provided are being reviewed.
Interview: You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics : We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check : Not applicable.
Final decisionYour application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Don't worry, not all applicants the same.

About 10%-15% (sometimes a bit more) of applicants get ppr in the first 30-60 days after AOR.

Then 60%-70% get by 6 months.

Then 15%-10% get to wait more than 6 months.

So, your timeline seems to fit into middle line for now... worrying does not help

I have another question. I am traveling at the moment in Thailand for 2 months. should I notify CIC and if yes how do I do that?
Also, i will be changing country of residence soon. how should that be managed?

This will depend on your residency.

As per IRCC:

• For the applicant’s current country of residence, the police certificate must have been issued no more than six months before the submission of the e-APR.
• For countries in which the applicant no longer resides, the police certificate must have been issued after the last time the applicant lived in that country.
• Police certificates are required up front and are mandatory for each country (except Canada) where an individual has lived for a total of six months or more. This instruction is for the purpose of the completeness check under section R10. However, it is always at an officer’s discretion to request a new or additional police certificate.

If you are a resident of the US, you can travel outside US and your FBI PCC will be fine. However, if you are not the resident of the US, then the US FBI PCC should be issued after you last visited the country.

Also, the FBI PCC should be less than 6 months old.

After the application is filed, it is locked and there is no need to inform IRCC of any travels. The only time you need to inform IRCC, is if you change your residency from one country to another or if there has been a change to your personal circumstances.

Self (Applying as dependent) travelling to India - Sep 25 and return Oct 15th.
Planning to submit the PR application Oct 2nd week once I return back to US

Do you think my wife(primary applicant) staying in India will be an issue issue here , even though I have given her present address on her application as US address.
But I will be mentioning that she is staying in India for the past 3-4 months in the last 10 years address section.
Pls advice.

If you visit India before you submit your application, you will be required to submit new PCCs, this includes country of origin.
