The requirement is to maintain the minimum score, however if doe to change in circumstances, like a new score report, or in your case you getting additional points, they will be taken into consideration. That is not an issue. The post only states that an applicant has to maintain the minimum CRS.

I guess then this will increase my margin of error by 30 points, since my score was 415 and the minimum score at that draw was 415 as well.

That is right.

Thanks a ton for starting a thread as this. This will help a lot!

Before the date stamped in your visa or 1 year from the date of medicals, which ever is earlier.
My passport has expiry in 2021 and medical will expire in April 2018. So will the visa be till April 2018?

Visas are usually valid for the same date when the medicals expire or 6 months, which ever is before. However, if your medicals expire and your application has not been approved, you can request for an extension of medicals, and they may renew the medicals for 1 additional year or ask you to retake the medicals.

@gurik @KiranK Is your visa valid for 6 months or more than that? Please confirm. I am confused.

Hi All,

I have got PPR on August 01, 2017. In PPR, it says I should send my and my spouse's passport to Ottawa. I am staying in Canada for three and half years. I can send my passport to Ottawa. However, my spouse is in my home country. I have sent an email to CPC Ottawa about where to send her passport on August 02, 2017. So far, there is no reply from their side. What should be my next step?

Thanks

Same. May I ask your country of residence? I have seen a few people on the MyImmiTracker from the US who seem to have skipped from IP1 to IP2 and then received PPR very shortly after. I'm hopeful that is the case for us!

There is no e-mail for changes in Background status, only for medicals and then PPR.
To check updates we need to check manually.
