June 25 Modifications

I have a question regarding to the skilled worker immigration category.

After 25 th June, there are list of occupations are eligible for applying in case the applicant collects the credit points. Now, Is this new regulations related to the occupation list are applied to the people who are inside Canada for one year?

My current occupation is PhD graduate student, is this position affecting my case?

No, it's not.

You can apply under the Canadian Experience Class.

The reply is it is not ! for my first question or for the second the question? I am sorry I am bit confused?


My master degree is from outside Canada, so I am in Canada for 1 year only doing my PhD. The PhD will run for 3 more years ? Am I eligible to Canadian experience class. Keep in mind my position in the school is involved in Research and Teaching tutorials as well.
