Hi there, quick question on the e-certificate download email. I received my oath email yesterday and it had two documents attached, oath info and e-certificate info but no instructions on how to download the e-cert. it says on the document that I will receive another email on how to download the cert. do you remember how long it took you to receive the instruction email after getting the oath confirmation email? Thanks
I received E-certificate portal email 2-3 days before I received the invite. It had instructions how to login to portal and download e certificate.

Prior to my citizenship application, I have lived across five provinces, and traveled overseas frequently, approximately every 3-4 months. On two occasions upon returning to Canada, I was stopped by CBSA officers and questioned about the frequency of my travels. Additionally, my luggage was searched twice during these encounters.
I left Canada shortly after submitting my application and returned in February 2025, after being away for 7 months. This time, however, I was not questioned at the border.

I got an interview request today after completing the citizenship test and updated after 3 weeks. I sent in my application on Dec 6, 2024. I am not in Canada because I have to leave Canada in December to take care of personal issues but I went to Canada to take the test. I also had to resign the job I had and still have some work to do for a couple of months to complete my stuff outside Canada. I will go to the interview in person but I am really concerned if I will be rejected for any of these reasons? Especially not having a job in Canada atm and I am currently unemployed. Any body in the same boat or any tips please? All other stuff is accurate and complies with what they ask on residency requirements, no criminal background, language requirements etc. any advise on this please?
Hello all,I got citizenship in December 2024 and Canadian passport in Jan 2025 .after that I get ETA (India visa);of one year validity and visit India using Canada passport for 2 weeks and come back Canada .I still not surrender my Indian passport. My India passport is still valid .I want to travels Canada to India on Indian passport for 6 month and return on Canadian passport and apply for surrender Indian passport in India .I desire just to travel on Indian passport last time pls clarify and suggest me about this point.thanks all
